Astoria Generating chooses Trix Organizer 7

Astoria Generating Station is a 959 MW fuel oil and natural gas plant located in Astoria, in the Queens borough of New York City.

Astoria purchased Trix Data Migration services in July 2015 to clean and organize it´s 150,000 electronic engineering drawings and documents. The majority of the drawings are in PDF or TIFF format and where stored in a rudimentary past-generation document management database called Alchemy.

Trix consultants organized and cleaned the old database and installed the clean data in a structured metadata searchable set-up in our Trix Organizer Engineering Document Management system.
