Standard digitalization services
When digitizing, the substrates need to be collected, possibly scanned and coarse sorted. It is also advisable to classify the drawings to the appropriate standard to facilitate overview after digitization. Sometimes it is also advisable to introduce revisions to the documentation so that they come with the conversion.
We work mainly with Autodesk products, but can also handle other CAD products.
The work involves creating registration documents, usually by ensuring that new title blocks can be read automatically when loading in the database at the final stage of the work. After certain delivery checks, the documents are read in conjunction with their registry information and thus form a completed delivery.
Another simpler type of digitalization we carry out is fast and simple conversion of single drawings, as needed. Examples are some drawings to be submitted for design, where it will be cheaper to deliver completed cad drawings to the project.

Collection of documents
Documents to be digitized shall be collected and recorded for the purposes of determining the scope. The work involves grooving and transporting the documentation to us appropriately.
Sorting and classification
The documents must be sorted and classified to facilitate order and execution in the process of establishing the new archive. Sort order is done, for example, per building / floor plan or machine / part / component. We can carry out the classification of the documents so that they are provided with classification codes for the document class, type, technical system and technology area, and possibly more codes. At the same time, the necessary check is carried out that the substrates are of sufficiently good quality so that the information is understandable.
Scanning
Paper documents must be scanned with the best quality to form a good basis for digitizing. Most common is to use an external scanning partner near the physical archive to avoid long-haul transport and the risk of loss of archive bases associated with this. We can undertake to carry out the work so that it can be coordinated smoothly, and in combination with sorting and classification it becomes cost effective to carry out the entire work.
Establishing a basis for digitization
Certain drawings need to be supplemented with information to make them a good basis for new drawings. The most common task is to add measurement data or to supplement with larger items missing. The goal should always be to supply the most important objects that control the important items in a construction, such as exterior walls and pillars. Details can be added successfully when digitization is done, making it easier to edit a cad file than a scanned file.
Conversion to AutoCAD Architecture and Autodesk Revit
We compile and instruct our partners in Asia how the work will be performed. Then we monitor the work and a continuous dialogue with the engineers who carry out the work. When the redrawn CAD files delivered to us carried out a verification process where we ensure that the models have the necessary quality and that the work is complete in relation to the original drawings and requirements.
Metadata Registration
We can register all metadata for the relevant documents. Metadata in title blocks can be read instantly if we use custom drawing stamps from the beginning. At work, the information we have received or coordinated in the assignment is recorded.
Quality control
Final inspection of the entire scope is based on requirements and industry standards. The work is done mainly when the download to the Trix database occurs. This because there are features that support this.
Delivery and import of information
The import to the database is the last step before the final delivery. The work is usually done with the retrieval of information that has already passed all quality tests with us. If the information is to be synchronized with existing, it takes place in the customer’s database.
